This is a bit of a hidden gem. Really great show that swims in the psychedlic end of the pool.

I was at 7-7-89 and it's great but I'll venture that actually one of the most exploratory and, given the right atmosphere, psychedelic scarlet-fire shows was actually one of the first shows of the 90's on 2-26-90. Check it out the Scarlet takes a while to get going but they take there time with it and the Fire just explodes. The combination of the two songs is over 30 minutes so exploratory is the key word here. If your mind is willing I'd go there for sure. nuff said

Agree w/Air Garcia on 7-7-89...contains one of the GREAT Scarlet>Fires of ANY era...

My favorite late 80's show, but I can't say whether it's necessarily the most "psychedelic" is 7/18/89, Alpine Valley:

The transition from SugarMag>Scarlet is psychedelic in that it so seamless it will blow your mind. Whole show is phenomenal.
